series five:
Activating Indeterminate Encounters

I'M AN ORIGINAL CATCHPHRASE

What constitutes an activation of indeterminate encounters? Can workshops create conditions for mobilising the unexpected? Can they take place anywhere? The Counterfield collective welcomes proposals for the next workshop series called Activating Indeterminate Encounters which will take place on Thursday afternoons from November 3rd to December 8th.

We are curious about the emergence of particular processes or occurrences, which initiate or interrupt the particular methods or practices of doing things. The supposed causal implications of an activation, which implies a moment of rupture, is complicated in the indeterminacy of both space and time and how we come to relate with each other. The series will gather around themes on translation, transference, transmission, mistakes, affectivity, co-emergence, contact and related resonances.
