The Tempest Masque Chorus
Mark Duncan
Rounding out our workshop series, Mark Duncan presents The Tempest Masque Chorus.
This performance project focuses on the chorus, named by Prospero as ‘the rabble’. The clash between utopia and dystopia is expressed in theatre in the round, with improvised and renaissance spoken word from the bouffon, audience participation in traditional games and the “country footing” dance, plus masks, songs and live music.
